Elke and Ken Knechtel have been immersed in the horticultural field for over 25 years with experience in all facets from growing plants to design, installation and maintenance of gardens.  Travels through North America and Europe have broadened our knowledge to encompass cutting edge garden topics.  More recently with our own commitment to local sustainability we have become involved in our local Farmers Market and become knowledgeable of  agricultural policies and food sourcing and cooking. 

Topics for 2008 that we will be offering as a lecture or demonstration are the following:
